    Is This True?
My Ma was just saying a while ago that she heard from someone that you no longer need a visa to go to the states. You just book your ticket online at aerlingus or wherever and then the officials interview you at the desk. Kinda odd really when you thaught that they would be getting stricter in that area.
Anyway I doubt its true but I was just checking..

ya its pretty much the opposite of what u think as far as i know the agreement the usa has with its visa waver countries is up next year so if u want to go there even for a weekend u need to get interviewed in the embassy and get a visa!! i could be wrong though!!

If the big computer also holds information such as the fact I inadvertantly over stayed my 3 month visa by almost 3 yrs back in the 90's, then I reckon I won't be propping up the bar of the Irish Rover in Queens for a long time to come.

It does not look good for you.The Irish playwright Martin McDonagh was deported by US immigration before the Oscar's last week, apparently he over stayed a visa by a couple of days back in the 90s.

The big computer will have this info. ... but you should be able to get a proper visa if you ask nicely at the embassy.....
