Do your hands actually shake noticeably with the onset of the tingling?
If so, it sounds like tremors.
If not, then disregard this post (soz)

i am not a doc but it is sounds like a pinched nerve or on the other hand (no pun intended) it maybe the onset of wanker's cramp if you are left-handed:D :D

Sorry but I had a few beers tonight

Go to the doctor, it can be a symptom of a heart problem.

Are you left handed & have you done a lot of work with the hand lately?

It sounds like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, which is as someone else said:- a pinched nerve.

If you've done an unusual amount of work with the hand in a short space of time, the muscles in your wrist can get inflamed which puts pressure on the nerves to those two particular fingers which gives the tingling / numb sensation.

With rest it normally goes away by itself, but sometimes it needs an injection by the doc.

    Get it checked anyway.

The only way to find out what is wrong is for you to go to your Gp with it.
