burning .avi files to dvd

    I have a few .avi videos and i want to make a dvd with them, what do i need to do to be able to watch the dvd on my dvd player?

    hi mate i use winavi video converter,usually 45 mins to convert to dvd.

    Thanks ill have a look at it. Im after creating a DVD using Sonic MyDVD, imported the .avi and hit burn, dont know if it will be sucessful though,at the moment it says its transcoding, its like that bout 10 minutes now, if it doesnt work ill try your link. Thanks again
