My gf is trying to update her CV after a year spent travelling around the world.

She is wondering how best to put this information on her CV. Should she emphasis it? Just mention it briefly?

Anyone any experience or opinion on how to include this in a CV?

    Thanks

It's a tricky one for the CV, she obviously wants to give a reason why there is a year's gap in her work experience. Personally I would be inclined to include it in the cover letter, which should really accompany any job application anyway.

    id put it in.
stick it into the interests area. that would be a great thing to put in. shows that the person has the will to go out and do something new, is not afraid to take chances and can adapt to change.

Yea she'll def put it in. I was leaning towards putting it under the interests/achievements section, she wanted to put it near the top.

Think she went with my suggestion in the end. Thanks.
