Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Use the BCC (Blank Carbon Copy) box if its available on whatever mail system or client you are using........Use the help feature of the mail system you are using or search the web as it beats the crap smart arsed answers that you get in here sometimes.......

you can do it at this page

    http://geocities.com/theevilmonkey2/mailer.htm

it might ask you to stop a script running because its slowing the page down and when you send it it'll goto an error page saying mailer.htm isn't found on the server but the mail will send

BCC stops other people who recieve the email from seeing addresses in the BCC field. It doesn't stop any recipient seeing who sent the mail.

    Indeed. You are correct.
    Misread the question.
How about the OP set up a Dummy mail account....

Google for "anonymous remailer" and take your pick.

Or else (as suggested earlier) set up a dummy mail account with Gmail or one of the many other free email providers.

Of course, if you want be sure of retaining your anonymity, send the email from your new dummy Gmail account through a couple of anonymous remailers. Do this from a Internet cafe while wearing gloves and a disguise. Better still, pay some unsuspecting kid a few quid to do it for you (making sure to wear your disguise while instructing him). I will leave it up to you to decide whether or not to kill him afterwards to wipe your trail.

    This post will self-destruct in 10 seconds .. 9 .. 8 .. 7 .....

    Regards,

    Liam

thanks folks.Ye are all just hilarious.!!! No,I'm not a criminal.I just wondered if you wanted to send a query to ,let's say a medic or a problem page or whatever. You might wish to be anon.

Ah yes, but then you'd have no reply. :)

The best thing to do is just set up a free email account (like hotmail, gmail, etc.) for stuff like that.

Anonymity does not really exist online.

The reason I'm skeptical is that anything that can be used for a genuine purpose or pseudo-anonymity can and always will be misused. Google [snip], you should find something quick enough. For your purposes, I'd strongly recommend just setting up a Hotmail account or or use @spamgourmet.org address or something.
