    Hi,

Im thinking of putting together my own epos system. I will be buying a customer display unit, dell desktop, 15" touchscreen from komplett.ie, printer & cash drawer. They will all be bough seperate and the software i will be using is http://www.point0fsale.com/restaurology/

My question is how do they all work together, if i buy a cutomer display unit and connect it to the dell desktop will it need software/driver to display prices and info on the display unit or will my epos software configure this??

The same applies for the touchscreen, will my epos system automatically work with the touchscreen??

Im assuming the epos software will configure the cash drawer & printer so maybe it will do the same for everything else???

    Any ideas??

You'll need to install drivers the hardware to work properly most likely, though the EPOS should be able to pick up on it. The one you have selected seems to have a free trial version, so no harm in trying it out after you get the hardware together. Other than that, contact the software manufacturer and ask.
