    Heeeeeelp!!

I just switched on the computer and when I click my little shortcuts in the Taskbar (e.g. Show Desktop, IE, etc.) it doesn't actually open the application anymore .... it instead brings up the shortcut properties?

Does anyone know how to fix this? I noticed that when I was clicking around the system tray (was trying to open AOL Instant Messenger) and mouse properties came up, but I don't think I clicked anything so ....??

    Please help me :)

    Thanks :)

do ctrl alt del see if there is a program called mouseswp, it messes with your left and right click buttons if someone installed it on your pc

Maybe you have an annoying trojan on your computer that changes them??

But before you go down that road go to Control Panel -> Mouse and then clear the checkbox that says "Switch Primary and Secondary Mouse buttons" or something along those lines

Maybe someone was on your computer that was left-handed and changed them??

Thats happened to me many times over the past few years.

It seems like a random error to me as i'm 100% sure i've no malicious software on my machine. Right clicking seems to make it go away for me.

Mind you ive always used a Microsoft mouse so maybe there is a connection there.
