I'm back to CoD/UO

Is anyone like me? got bored of cod2, really fast?

I don't know what is wrong with that game, it seems it's right, but it just does not feel that way

CoD/UO, I don't know I never get bored with them.

and lately seems like more people think like me cause cod2 servers are emptying and cod servers fillin up:cool:

Nope! Definitely staying on CoD2! Why go back to something older and not as good? No way...

Maybe people are fed up waiting for the patch and PB so they're going back to CoD/UO...?

CoD2 if far better than CoD1 (and obviously 1.000.000 times better than UO!) and that is why there's no turning back for me.

COD 2 sucks balls tbh.
Hitboxes are a joke with zero skill neened to play.
Both COD and UO are far better imo.

I was always a bigger fan of UO than Cod 2. Cod 2 is good, but for me it's just not a patch on UO.

As Cully said the hitboxes in Cod 2 are way too big. You generally just have to aim in the general vacinity of a player and shoot. In UO and Cod 1 it actually took skill and aiming to get a headshot.

Other things that I prefer in UO are sprinting, cookable nades and the original version of HQ.

Unfortunately I can't say that I've had the same experience of Cod/UO servers refilling again. On the whole I find that there are very few Cod/UO players still out there. I know that on my own clan's server, that, besides a few regulars who come on from time to time, it rarely ever fills up.

That's crazy! I despise all three! :eek: That's why I hated UO actually...

Yep, unfortunately hiboxes are a joke... I'll give you that! But still a far better game than the other two IMO.

True... oh so true.

In all fairness I havent played much Cod2 but from what I have I really didn't like it. You've so much more control over your player in UO. The new version of HQ I only just found out about! Thats just plain terrible! Just go play CS or s&d if ya want that waitin around lark!

The hitboxes are the heart and soul of any game.
You guys are admitting the hitboxes are screwed surely this translates that the game is screwed.
You are saying its a far better game,how so?
Please dont say graphics,i have a beast of a pc and run gfx @ max settings,it looks great but gameplay as a result of hitboxes just feels ****e and far too console-like.
The game is just so easy with little skill needed.
In UO the feeling of a well aimed headshot is exceptional,in COD2 its just a feeling of those damn hitboxes.
Go back to uo for a few maps and i guarantee you will say OMG wtf this is so hard compared to COD2.
Now i agree that the difficulty of a game doesnt always mean its a fun game.
UO just has that perfect balance of difficulty/fun.
I really like COD2 at first mostly because of the visuals i must admit.
It didnt take long for me to see through them and realise the meat of the game is sadly lacking.
We have a COD2 server and i admit im never on it,i literally cant stand COD2 at this stage.
Thanks god for BF2 and RO tbh.

Cod2 is sooooo much better than cod/uo.

Yes, atm hitboxes are a bit of a shame, but most of the time these dodgy shots aren't due to bad hitboxes although sometimes it is, but it is also due to alot of server using the command "/antilag 1".

I for one will never turn back to cod/uo as i feel cod2 has improved so much on them.

As for the new HQ mode, it is way better than the one it replaced.

Cully, as for the skill levels, i think more skill is required for cod2, mainly due to the smaller maps, which i also feel give the game added bonus. If you don't believe me, hop onto the OCRANA.ATI server for a few maps, then comeback and tell me no skill is required

I've said from the very start that CoD can never be beaten. It's like Final Fantasy VII vs. any of the others after that. The ones after might all look better but the game is no where near as good.

Well, I agree with the cool Fionn_McCool!

CoD2 is better in everyway and hitboxes could all seem cr@p to us because of that new antilag system... Maybe? Can't wait for the patch though...
