i know they were meant to play but i heard they pulled out closer to the event because they had played the main stage in 2004 but were asked to play one of the tents in 2005 and then refused to play..

I was there, yes they did. Just after queens of the stone age i think or else snoop dogg... they were a big let down, very depressing set list for a saturday evening main stage act. We were all on such a mda buzz after QOTSA and Snoop and next came glen to give us a dose of the moans.

Beg to differ, thought they played a good set and were one of the only bands to play few more tunes of an encore but then again it could have been because whoever was on after them was late, can't really remember who it was......

Yes they did play after QOTSA to my horror. I remember this horror specifically since I presumed that The Frames would be forced to do a shorter set because of Snoop Dogg - entertaining and all as he was - and his outrageously long set but noooo...QOTSA had to cut short to make way for the frames....

frames didn't play in 2004 because the ginger one had a hissy fit because they weren't high enough on the main stage

Cummon, the entire new album was made without Nick. QOTSA is Josh Homme

I haven't had a chance to see them live yet. For various reasons I missed the last two times they were here. They're currently the band I wanna see most.
Well, besides a reunited Pink Floyd *fingers crossed *
