Did anyone watch this? Is it just me or was Padraig the most nervous person you'd ever seen at a poker table. His head was shaking as if he had MS or something. And that English guy, open min-raising with ATo. He was absolutley pathetic. Actually I thought the 2 scandies were the only ones who played good poker before I turned it off.

The Danish guy got lucky twice winning 75/25 and 70/30 flips. Padraig actually played a good game as the match went on I thought but he does take a little time to relax in front of the tv cameras methinks. So would I if I'm honest....

He was looking for callers a number of times so I wasn't surprised to see him "looking" anxious I'll have to watch for that if I'm ever at his table... :p

I think you'll find it's nothing to do with nerves.

I thought it was a great setup for a team event. Especially looking forward to the final where the captains can tag in and out members of their team.

The GB internet qualifier was absolutely dire, don't see how he managed to beat five hundred people to claim that spot.

Swedish guy's call really changed the dynamic of the game and then for the Dane to river the winning hand twice...

Heads-up, the Dane's discipline was impressive to ensure that Padraig didn't double up....

Is this every Tuesday Night for the next 6 weeks now?

Don't have Digital/Sky Sports so this is the first poker I've watched on TV in ages...

Thought it was quite a good programme, even if the set looked a bit tacky!
What do u mean fatboydim when u say it had nothing to do with nerves?Remember watching WSOP dvd when padraig was playing at the ft and he was nothing like that-thought he came across as looking quite nervous.....

    :D

I actually thought he was bobbing for invisible apples at one stage.

Some of the play especially from the net qualifier just seemed dire.

The English guy was atrocious, but he did say that he's only been playing the game for 4 months and that he was very nervous. That might explain his minimum raises.
Fair play to the Dane. He was determined not to double Pagraig up. But then there was never any pressure on him. The blinds were very low when the HU started.

It's nice to see some poker on terrestrial TV.
