    2.00 Denman(NAP)
2.35 The Railway Man (course might be a bit long for him though)
    3.15 Fota Island
4.00 No Where To Hyde (may have trouble keeping up in the home sprint, but good each way bet at 7's or 8's)
    4.40 No Half Session
5.20 Leading Contender (hard race to judge but good price at 14's)

If you win early on, a decent shot at an outsider is Another Rum in the 4.40, nice price at 20-1, won 800+ on him early last year at 40-1. The fav pulled up at fence two or three but he blow the rest of the competition away winning by 5 or 6 lenghts. Bad start to season but hopefully work in his favour in hcap. price likely to fall.

I'm hiding this post in this thread. For the past few months, and beyond I guess, Hairy Molly has been a horse very close to me..there are some other forum members who can verify this...yet...today I didn't give it a chance. When I say close I mean close....if ya knew how close you'd know how much of an idiot I am...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,894 ✭✭✭✭phantom_lord

Funny you should say that. My dad has backed him a few times and yesterday he was very very close to putting 20 on him e/w. :o

    Few small stakes on the early races;

    2:00

    Le Volfoni e/w
    Celtic Son win
    Tumbling Dice e/w
    Cornish Set e/w

    2.35:

    My Will e/w

and I have Golden Cross in the 3.15 as the second half of a double with Fota Island from yesterday

Yeah, it's a funny one alright .... saw "Hairy Molly" in Leopardstown last Christmas when it was well fancied. Did not win on the day, but we were all warned to keep an eye on it .... felt a bit sick myself there yesterday too Fade, as I'd had a long look at it before the race and did nothing in the end.

Strangely brown and refinement kept catching my eye yesterday. Backed neither of them. But then again they were only placed at good prices so it's not too bad. Doesn't really compare to a 33/1 winner.

My brother was sick too. He had €600 on it to win a couple of weeks ago and if he'd been in the bookies yesterday he would have definitely done it. The way he bets I'd say at least 50 e/w would be going on it.

    reliable tips from two jockeys.....

2.00pm - Tumbling Dice - back him each way
    2.00pm - Cornish Sett - to win
    3.15pm - Golden Cross - to win
4.00pm - Camden Tanner - back him each way

Quite a few people are going with this. It was the main tip on Today FM and Newstalk. I suppose that means it won't win. :)

I'd just love to see how much the bookies have profited the last 2 days... sweet jesus the only well backed winner was BI...

Disastrous so far for the punters...
Of course there's always a few weiners ;)

Mighty Man is the best EW bet of the day. Anyone on him?

why do you think that a horse at 9-2 is the best ew bet of the day?
