Sky+ Audio/Video sync problem

I've noticed (particularly on recorded movies) that the audio and video can be out of sync. Sometimes it seems to be up to half a second. Stopping and re-starting the playback does not seem to help. Also, the problem only seems to be evident when watching through SCART on TV. When watching through 5.1 amp,, it's not near as bad. Anyone else notice this? It's driving me nuts!

Has no one else experienced this? I have tried shutting off and unplugging the Pace box for about 15 minutes and still no joy. This problem is really starting to bug me.

    Hi there,

I very occasionally notice this, but it is rare. Most recently Sideways was significantly out of sync (180ms on 2 different occasions). However if you see this regularly then I wonder do you have a box problem?

Amp systems can introduce a small delay due to processing so maybe that's helping to compensate if your video is ahead of audio. However the amp delay itself is so subtle that if it seems to improve your main delay then you must be very sensitive!

    Ix.
