Hi I am only playing a few weeks so forgive the stupid question.
I won a qualifying tournament on party poker to play in a $200k tourny next sat night:cool: .It cost $10 and i came 1st although the first 3 won entry. anyway the game starts at 4am for me and i wondered if i could unregister and recieve the $200+$15 in my account or do i lose it,When i click on the tourny it gives me the option to unregister,I checked around the site rules but found no answer,
By the way i would love to play the game but its a mad hour of the morning, the missus doesn't know i play for money, and Im probably out of my dept:rolleyes:

an answer and/or your taughts would be very welcome.

You won't be able to unregister and get the cash into your account. Your options are to get a friend to play it for you, play it yourself or let it go to waste.

    BUMMER,

I do have a pal who is well into the aul poker and stays up many nights playing, maybe i'll sell him a half share in whatever he might win:D
I checked the last winning prize ammount and it was almost $60k
the mind boggles at the amount that can be won
I play mostly $6 multi table sit and goes and the cheap $1/$2 tourney's
what do you think of me chances:D considering im only playing 3 weeks or so and then only 4/5 times a week.

Have a go at it, you might get lucky. The players won't be anything special.

And just in case you don't know, it is against the rules to allow a friend to play on your account.

I think you should play it, what have you to lose? It is a freezeout and cannot cost you any more money. You only stand to gain from this, in experience if nothing else.

on pokerstars u CAN unregister and get the money into your account, if u have qualified from a satelite, i dont use party, but wouldnt be totally surprised if its the same.

Send a question into support about whether you can get the money back (not about whether you can get someone to play as you). Given it's on Saturday you'd expect they'll be well back to you before then.

You get tournament dollars on pokerstars not 'real money'. They can then be used to play any tournaments. Some of those 10$ rebuy sats for the sunday tournaments are great. Usually 20 something seats with around 200 runners. You'd have to finish well up in a similar buy-in MTT to get more than 215$!!
