In the same vain as the google thread - has anyone applied for one of the sage positions in Sage CRM (formally ACCPAC, formally EWare) in Ballsbridge. Link on Irish Jobs.

I know of a number of people who have applied (incl me) either directly or via agencies and not one person has heard anything from any channel. So I'm just wondering has anyone gotten any feedback whatsoever, good, bad or indifferent, or anyone actually know what the story is there?

    Thanks,

    D.

I have similar experience. They are indeed hiring, but they suck at giving feedback and replying to people.

A friend of mine got an offer and I've applied. Got nothing back.

Given that my skills fitted the requirement, I was dissapointed not to get an interview.

That annoyed me and I sent the CV another 2 times to different recruiters and finally I got asked if I would be willing to develop in Delphi.(which I was not ;-) )

So yes, keep trying or maybe get somebody from inside to reffer you.

I agree the company is interesting, but are you really willing to develop in Delphi. that would be a career limiting move in my oppinion, taking into account that that technology is legacy, and Borland discontinued development ?

Maybe I'll just revisit the CV and fire it in again. I've 10 years Delphi experience, and since I'd like to leave where I am sooner rather than later I have little choice but to stick with Delphi for another while.

    Thanks for your reply oli_ro.

Believe me, you don't want to work there. Not a nice environment.
