Live Membership Query

Hi All,

I got a free live silver membership when I bought PES at the w/end. Can this be upgraded to a gold membership? I've checked the xbox website, and can't find the answer. I suspect given that's it's MS you can't, but wanted to check.

Didnt want to start a whole new thread for this, but as this was a live membership query I thought my question would fit nicly in here!

My subscription is running out next month, so I want to know where is the cheapest place to get a 12 month subscription?! And does anyone know if you could use a subscription code from the US?! I'm thinkin ebay, but the cheap ones are from america!

Play.com get an original xbox account and use it, they work for half the price.

After some research I found out that you can use american ones for anyone who's interested, there only like €30 on ebay... Couldt see any of the old school ones on play.com?!?! Cheers anyway!

Just to confirm to anyone else who is interested, you can use the american 12 month subscriptions. Got one off ebay today and it cost about €30 and didnt even have to get it posted, just emailed me the code!
