Excel formulas

    A friend of mine was wondering how to do this....ok ok i have forgotten how to use excel :o

    I have 50 results from a questionnaire and i need to calculate how many people selected option one, option two etc in each question. I just cant remember anything about excel i know its only simple i could do it in java in 5 mins.

    so if someone could help me out that would be nice
