have just gotten another digibox and I'm wondering how hard is it to use both from the same dish. I'll have one in the living room and another upstairs. i have the tv link (magic eye). Is it simply a matter of putting an RF cable into the second box or will this cook it? if anyone can help that would be good.

You need a dual lnb on your dish unless you already have sky + and a quad lnb.

The second box must be hooked to the dual or quad lnb to work in the same way as the first box you have.
