Ryanair - lost confirmation number/checkin requirements?

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I booked some Ryanair flights to Rome several weeks ago and entered the wrong email address (I know, stupid) and did not make a note of the booking confirmation number on the confirmation page.

Does any one know Ryanairs policy on travelling without a confirmation number? As far as I know all you need to do is turn up at the checkin desk with your photo identification get your boarding card. There is no information I can find from their rather spartan website whether this is correct. There is a page to confirm/change your booking but you need the number....

Of course there is no email support for Ryanair or at least I can't find any. I have tried several times to contact the reservation line but it is constantly engaged and they don't seem to go in for a call queue system.

They do have an "internet support" line but it is €1.75 per minute and I don't particularly want to call that unless it is the only option, as it will probably cost more than my airline fare!

Any help would be great. Hopefully I am not the only mong out there who has done this :)

    Cheers.

You should be fine with your name and photo ID and flight number. The check-in staff will find you.

You can call internet support - normally very little in the line of queues for those numbers. They might be able to find your detailsd quickly

Same happened to me last new years day flying to uk, went to ryanair info desk and they asked to see the credit card used for the booking, they issued me with a new number and i checked in with that, no hassles at all, and even more surprising for ryanair................ NO CHARGE!

This used to be the case, but I think they now insist on seeing the confirmation number.

Last time I flew with them (about a month ago) I just handed the check-in staff my passport and they found me on the list. No need for a confirmation no / email.

Just give them a ring - had to do it myself not so long ago - they will want the card number that paid for ticket and will then e-mail copy of flight confirmation.
