Anyone know what's the story with CITV on Satellite. The channel launched on Saturday. I thought it was to share with ITV4:confused:

It's only freeview channels are shared I think. Like CBBC and BBC Three share on freeview but have each their own channel on Sky and cable. CITV will launch on Sky & cable in a few weeks so i hear.

It does really share ITV4s channel, probabily. CBBC and CBeebies "Really" share BBC3, BBC4, and this is obvious on a FTA receiver. But on a Sky box different EPG numbers can actually be the same channel. Try the ITV4 frequency in "other Channels" before 6pm and after 7am.

It won't be on the Irish EPG.

I tried the ITV4 channel on my FTA box yesterday - no CITV

It seems it may not be on Satellite till May 8th 2006 ... according to ITV.

As to why they can't put it on the ITV4 now during day, I have no idea.

There is a terrible CITV website.
