    doesn't sound like it lights the world on fire, does it? Although for that, you'd really be looking at an L. Think I will go for the 28-105 for half the price. It's got better reviews than both the 28-135 and the 17-85 EFS.
    Then it's a matter of saving for a wide angle

    probably right better off improving technique before shelling out lots on a lens, better results to be had getting the two lenses for less. :)
