    Hey John , forgot to point out your were mentioned in last months Fighters Only magazine.

    I believe the reference was "BJJ slickster John Kavanagh".

    Didn't know if you were already aware of it, as it was in the write up for a guy you train you most likely were. :D

    This is a great article.
    If we try and avoid the issue by repression. . ."Belts are bull****, just train!". . .or hedonism . . . "You are a 4 stripe pink glove, with a two stripe white belt, and a red sash in clinch". . .we may, and most likely are, simply avoiding and perpetuating the entire issue.

    Lol I asked JK basically to assess me on the hedonistic method. Very good game Matt Thornton. This guy is a legend I wish I went to his seminar now. I love his little blog with all the cool pictures, I love the SBGi >>> * attitude.

    Next time he is here, I swear I'll be first to book a place.

    I just love and hate these type of things.

    I love them because they really remind me of the flaws in my game, little technical skill, relying on attributes, attirubutes not even being good in the first place.

    Then I hate them cos they shatter my self-delusions.

    but then I love thme for doing it.
