You could do that, but then you'd have to have this big tournament where everyone tracked each other down and lopped their heads off with swords for population control...

I want to live to 1000 (and then some). Learning all that has to be learnt and see all that has to be seen would easily take that long.

(btw imagine how long that guys beard will be in another another 900 yrs!)

    LOL
    Like the "Highlander" reference.... :)

There was an article in a science mag recently, where one guy claims that within his lifetime, science will be able to extend our lives by another 10 years.
In those extra 10 years, science will be able to extend our lives 20 years etc....
To the point, where he claimed that the first human that will live to 150 years is probably already alive today. They're probably very rich today too though.

    regards,
    Owen

Anyone with a beard like that gets my trust automatically. If he says it can be done, then you better believe it can be done. 1000 here I come!

I remember reading somewhere, that if humans were to live around the thousand years, then they would probaly have to 'delete' a lot of the stored memories in the brain, as it can only hold a finite amount of information, and over the course of a few hundred years, the amount of audio, visual, and all other sensory information would be phenomenal.
I guess by then technology might have advanced enough for people to have miniature 'hard disks' interfaced directly to their brains, and overcome the problem of 'running out of space'.
Then again we would be more than human... (I'll be back..)
