    Naas

    Royal County Star 5:10

I think we're dealing with something of a handicap blot here. Returned after a break to hack up at Punchestown on the 22 February, beating a well backed favourite of Tom Taffe's in Baker's Bridge. The handicapper has raised him 10lbs for that win but to be honest, on the day he looked like he could have carried an extra two stone and still won. Anyway, before that win he was off the track for over a year so you'd expect him to be a lot sharper today, probably 10 pounds sharper

Ruby Walsh takes the ride and the forecast price of 7/2 was a fantasy. Opened this morning at 5/2 and is currently at 2-1 and that probably won't last long.

If you don't mind fade, I'd like to give a horse a plug at Naas too.:)

    3.10

I reckon Glenfinn Captain should take this handy enough. Something to bear in mind here is that the reason he is dropped in class to a lower grade race is because he lost on his last outing, but on that ocasion he unseated McCoy, and it was not because of his performance. Befroe this, he had 3 Wins, 2 of which had Barry Geraghty booked on board, and Geraghty is riding him again today. He likes Heavy Ground, and his wins have been on H, H and Sf-H. Todays going is Sf-H which should suit him fine. The obvious danger is Alpha Royale, but he likes longer distances, and I believe the drop in class for Glenfinn Captain will see him do it. I was hoping to get about 2/1 on him, but I have accepted 2.94 on betfair.

Fire away Wayne. Have renamed the thread "Sunday" in case anyone has any tips from across the water.

Well it pales in significance to Europeboy's but he won in a canter today anyway. Available at evens this morning.

Ruby did well to stay on board at the last flight when the horse made a bad blunder,2 horses behind made less serious errors and both lost their Jockeys.

He the man. The horse still had a stone or more in hand of the rest of them. He'll take some stopping next time out.
