I want this! It's a pretty big step for MP3 player technology, it means bigger storage with less space. I wonder when they will be on the market and at what cost! I might turn my H140 into a H180:eek:

They've been shippin' those for a while but not to the general public. I think that and the 40GB single platter MK4007GAL won't be available for a while yet. Can't wait to H340 me H320!

any idea where I'd get one and how much it would cost? Also, how much is the HD in my H140 worth? Wonder how much it would work out at after selling my 40GB HD?

Haven't seen anything concrete on prices apart from a vague post on misticriver saying individual 80gb drives were goin' for $400, which sounds mental (IT is pretty new technology but I dunno about the price), probably because availability at present is similar to that of rocking horse ****. The good news is that this technology will, in time, allow a hell of a lot more than 40GB per platter (According to Hitachi), so give it a few years and you'll have yerself a h1120!
