I had a privelidge to view an interceptor a couple of years back and hear the enigne roar ,breathtaking.

I haven't seen it since and wondered is it still in ireland, someone i know was minding it for a friend and had it stored for them.

Sky blue metallic ,white leather roof ,cream leather apolstery and big white walled tires oh and an eight track thingy

I haven't seen anything remotely like it pictured on the internet.

There were two for sale around Killarney a couple of years back, one was like the one you described the other was a four wheel drive FF model if I'm not mistaken. Lovely looking car but a major headache to keep going and probably the heaviest car on fuel....ever!

There's a sky blue metallic one in the Blessington club. I've seen it on the N7 near Citywest a couple of times as well. I'm not sure if the roof is body colour or not though so it might be the same car....

    Can't beat the sound of a big V8 :D

Nice looking old cars. Very thirsty though and prone to overheating also.

Up until summer last year I frequently saw an Interceptor parked at house on Waterloo Road D4. As far as I can remember it was a metallic bronze. I've seen about 10 in the North over the years but only the one in the South.

Also I saw one in GreyStones that shook my car as it overtook me which fits the discription of the one your talking about, from memory.

There are always a few on ebay.

The engines are Crysler V8's thirsty and overheat, to the point where most owners had a manualy overide on the fan just in case.

    I read once the description:

"It goes like a stabbed rat and has more power than god".

Well put I thought, but should also have said "And it sounds like he is angry".

    I want one.

Cheers rob ,I did see that pic but the car i seen was completly different looking although it was an interceptor ,a II as far as i remember.

I looked around on the web but haven't seen one with the white walled tyres and white leather roof.
This thing would put a smile on a die hard green peace veteran.

The bloke that might have it ,has a black 355 ferrari ,97 or 98D registration . I could be wrong do ,just a wild guess.
    Exact model F355 Berlinetta
