Question for ipod owners

I bought a 30gig ipod about a month ago. Ive noticed that when i charge it, when it's finished the symbol saying it's fully charged comes up, but whenever i disconnect it from my pc and turn it on, the battery indicator is always down one bar. Does this happen to everybody else? Thinking about bringing it back for a new…
