Doesn't it mean girl in 'limerickness'?
Edit: if it is that word you are thinking of, it is 'beor'.

Are you a flora person as well?
why didnt he just write my name though?

I rarely wander away from connacht gold these days but when it runs out I use my housemates flora or 'real' butter, as it were.
You'll have to ask him, people use nicknames for people on gmail or wherever.
Some of my best friends call me peas on the internet. It has no explanation.

    Not Your Ornery Onager

I heard of a girl called Flora once - word was she spread very easily.

@Tar 'Beor' is a shelta word meaning girl. Are you saying that all Limerick people are travellers? :)

I live with somebody from limerick, it's supposedly a common word down there but yes, I assume they all are :).

On a serious note, its actually a ****ing confusing term. Down in tralee there are so many people who use the word without knowing what it means that ive drawn the conclusion tat noone knows what it actually is.

For example one guy would point at some ugly ugly chick and call her a beure then 5 mins later a different guy would point to a fine chick and go what a beure.

Its all retarded townie speak anyway, Its the devil i tells ya.
