Racing Uk

Racing Uk is coming through load and clear on my ntl digital in waterford from today..
I subscribed to nasn last week(For the Baseball!!)setanta woman said i would get two extra setanta channels,which are working,celtic and rangers tv still blank screens,and Racing Uk-Blank screen last two days now working.
Just wondering is everybody else out there in ntl digital land getting it free now or like me have to pay the 7.99 a month for nasn??

Im paying through the roof compared to that:mad: . Im getting it on Sky 432 and I only get to watch it at weekends. Also, there is another free racing channel on Sky now, see thread entitled 2.50 Wolverhampton

I emailed ntl about whats the story with racing uk.
saw on another forum think its just free for two weeks,we shall see.
Certainly 7.99 a month is cheap for me for nasn,and if i get racing uk thrown in all the better.
Meanwhile we wait and wait.........

Are you subscribed to ntl digital basic or got the 7-99 nasn job on ntl digital?
Still not sure if basic ntl digital is showing racing uk.

Can you watch the actual races live? I know before I subscribed they used to have a freeview on until racing started and again at night with NTL also showing it on Setanta. If you are getting it free then whats the point in having subscriptions at all.

Ads in all the papers today stating that it is available for the weekend for freeview, trying to lure people in for cheltenham. Not me though, ill be in work where i get every race!:p

On a similar topic Racing UK V At The Races.
Who is Your Favourite??
I accept the quality of the races on Racing Uk in general would be better and the quality of the camera work as well:)
But from dawn to live races on racing uk
6.00AMto 7.30 racing review and it goes on and on......
2.00pm live racing
6.OOPM RACING REVIEW,followed by racing review......
With at the races at least they have GET ON,and general racing news programmes,and a chance for you to e-mail them to death on air!!
Also Racing Uk,s highlights freely available with ntl customers on setanta..
Conclusion,with At The Races freely available to ntl digital and sky subscribers and the price for Racing Uk so high for Sky Subscribers,that unless your home alone every afternoon is it worth it????
I await to see will Racing Uk be added on to my setanta -NASN package at 7-99 a month ,if not wouldn,t pay ANY more for it.

Just got this e-mail from ntl digital.



"Thank you for your e-mail.

I have checked the account and can confirm that Ntl is bringing through a new packaged called Setanta Sports Extra. This will include Setanta Sports Xrta 1, Setanta Sports Xrta 2, Rangers TV, Celtic TV, NASN, and Racing UK."

I await to confirm this but if this is all for 7-99 which i pay a month for nasn and includes all those channels,seems good value,only one not coming through at the mo is fadetoblacks favourite channel RANGERS TV:)

I wonder is the reason why CelticTV is coming through now only because its FTAon sky digital today due to the dead of a legend. I rang ntl last week and was informed that they were in discussions with setanta about CETLIC and RANGERSTV and that these discussions would be concluded within a fornight.

An yes decies, the only people who will receive RacingUK on ntl digital are those that subscribe to the new package which you reffered to. It will not be available in any other channel mix.

That really is incredible value if you consider Racing Uk cost €25 on Sky or anywhere in the UK.
