Marlena Shaw's back again this year for the Bud Rising fest. Crawdaddy, 27th April. (€28.50) Anyone catch her last year? What was the band like? Those who don't know her, she was sampled in "Remember Me" by The Blueboy. Beautiful voice. You'll hear California Soul often played by DJs, kinda Northern Soul sound.
