    Sorry for the sherdog style thread.

    If he went the way Alistar Overeem did, I think Mark Hunt would be a very dangerous MMAist. He's got good strikes, a great chin and a lot of power. But I still think he's the unfinished article and if he's thrown against fedor soon, Fedor will destroy him on the ground.

    Fedor will overwhelm him on the ground. Alistair overeem has a solid ground game and great control when he's on the ground - I don't think Mark Hunt will ever have a great ground game, but he'll survive in most of his fights with a competent one.

    I'd like to see him fight Nog just to see him get triangled. Hunt just has a good chin and heavy hands.. Other than that, I don't see anything special about him. He nearly got exposed by a 200lb boxer.

    yea thats true but over all he has got great strikes both legs and feet so if the ocasiion does happen where he sees an openning BANG................ko

    i think maybe hunt is a bit unfit at present, i know he fought at christmas, but it was nearly a year before that. then again on fedors first defense way back when, the japanese fighter funaki nearly knocked him out and hunt hits harder than him.
