screen picture is green

    my dad has done something to his digibox and the picture is now green on all sat channels but ok on the ntl channels.Anyone know how to fix this problem

    Check the SCART connections at the back of your digibox and the back of your TV hasnt worked loose

    Perhaps he switched it from PAL to RGB my accident.
    To reverse this,
    Press "Services" on the Sky remote, then,
    Press 4 for System Setup, Alternatively scroll down using the arrow keys then,
    Press 1 Picture Settings then
    Press the down arrow four times until Video Contrast is highlighted. If it switched to RGB change it to PAL and save settings. If it is on PAL then try switching it to RGB.

    It's so simple RGB means green red blue layed over each other to give a colour picture.

    If the scart is half out you can be left with just one colour hue.

    Mods can we make this thread a sticky this question has been asked more then once?

    Or the picture can go all red.
    That's what happens to my TV when SCART is loose.

    RGB is preferable.

    I'll stick something on the ICDG website (see signature).
