We've always played tournament structure NLH home games (although some of our tournament structures would make Texas Nights look like the WSOP), but I really want to try out cash home games.

What do you all play, and for what stakes?

9 of us play every 2 weeks tourney. score per man, buybacks for first hour for a score. €5600 in chips blinds starting 25/50 every 20 min.
pay 1st 100, second €50 balance into club funds for a road trip or two.
idea to be good fun. take turns on food duty.

No limit hold stt's and im sick to death of it. We play with the same players and nobody's gotten better bar me and one other guy. Wanna try a bit of omaha? wanna try a bit of stud? wanna try ANYTHING NEW?!

its still good when we play at my place. A nice big table and a 6 can minimum, ensures arguments :D

Omaha cash with low-ish buy-ins for the first part of the night, then drunken Omaha cash games with revised buy-ins later in the night.

Cincinnati 10cent ante 10 cent min bet, doesn't sound much but can be very very expensive

Probably explains why seem to hang around until the river:rolleyes:

New rule for next one: We keep playing until Henbane loses his tank, no matter how long it takes.

We play a €25 nlh rebuy every Thursday. Proper table and a projector with Tournament Director, which is handy. 6 levels of rebuy, winner takes all. Pot usually around the €600 mark with 7 players so worth winning. If it finishes early we may have a €50 HORSE freezeout, or some omaha cash games (jokers, rules of bridge cards introduced depending on amount of drink taken) or just betting stacks of €1 chips on a high card or a blind 2-7 lowball hands :D
