According to IMDB.com its in post production, which could mean they're still editing, or they're sound mixing, or Ken Loach is working with ILM on the Visual effects (just kidding folks), so you'll just have to wait. Dinnae worry mate, its Ken Loach, it'll get at least a decent art house release, and probably do reasonable and widespread in dvd sales.

Hang on, are you Niall Mc Carthy? (check the credits, between Liam Cunningham, and Cillian Murphy, theres a Niall Mc Carthy, who's credit is listed as "extra") that just reeks of, "must ring every ounce of credit I can get out of this"............

Ken Loach is always a watchable director (my favourite description of "Kes" is "it's about as much fun as getting a job bashing kitten's brains out", and thats a genuine compliment, its just a harrowing tough gripping depressing film) and to my mind he's never mad a bad film, but I'd probably say that I'm a Guardian reading lefty type. I've watched most of his films, and enjoyed them all (except for the touchy feely socialist funeral at the end of "bread and roses"), so looking forward to this.

Not really a Film Production Forum topic.

Moved to the general Film Forum.
