hey, just after ordering a new dell laptop, it will mainly be used for showing websites etc to customers, burning cds, dvds, photoshop rendering/imaging, dreamweaver, macromedia flash 8 and some gaming such as hl2, cs source etc...Ive never had a laptop before but heard there not great for games.

the spec I got is Dell, Intel ® Core™ Duo Processor T2400 (1.83 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 667 MHz FSB)
    1024MB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
100GB (7,200 rpm) SATA Hard Drive
    17" UltraSharp™ Wide Screen WUXGA (1920 x 1200) Display with TrueLife™
    256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 7800 Go graphics card, PCI-Express x16
Fixed Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Drive with Software
Primary 6 Cell 53 WHr battery
    AC Adapter 90W Power Cord
Intel® Pro WLAN 3945 Internal Wireless (802.11a/b/g 54 Mbps) for Duo Processors

Is that good for modern games? My current desktop over 3 years old is a 2.4ghz Pentium 4 with 1gig of rambus memory, 120gig HD and a 128mb Geforce4ti and wondering will my new laptop be better than that for gaming since my new processor is only 1.83ghz.

    thanks.
