new computer help

    this may be the wrong forum but here goes!got new intel computer with 7 usb,had old computer with serial connection.my problem is i have downloaded a dragon loader ,also cas studio 169 for my dynamite programmer,neither will connect with programmer.with
    the dragon loader i am getting "unable to connect ,check settings,check card ,check programmer" with the cas soft ware all it says at bottom of prog is "please connect your device to usb port".cracking up have tried all usb and no joy.had old dell p2 no problems.can anyone give a step by step to connect my dynamite i would be grateful.running windows xp home

    no idea what you're saying but your dell pc would be usb 2.0 while your old one was plain old usb1...there are some compatibility issues with some devices but it's rare so congrats..you've probably found one..not a whole pile you can do but i could be wrong...it's been know to happen occasionally:cool:
