I probably won't be, now that it'd involve mitching worthwhile classes. :(

What's on in ucd? I live right beside it so if people are coming up I might go down to say hello for no good reason. Talk to me Aonghus.

You should all go to our open day, and then go to UCD, and then join Game Soc.

I won't be there as I am sad to say I have three weeks off.

    Have fun.

I was there. The whole thing is over now. I give it two thumbs up.

    Plus, I've a 7-day weekend:
    Mon - Cheerleading
    Tue - Comhairle na nÓg
    Wed - UCD
    Thur - Staff day
    Fri - Green Day

    Yep.

...that;s a 9 day weekend. actually. Or, as we usually call them "weeks off"

And I have the same wed, thur & fri as you. Probably a massive teacher party going on...

I now know several things, namely:

    - I can do Arabic and Linguistics together there
    - I don't want to go there
    - I have huge lung capacity
    - Pictures of the Pope are great comic props

I feel I may as well post this here, mostly cause I'm killing time....

For anyone who thinks of rejecting UCD on the grounds that it's full of D4-heads and other such stuck up people, I shall say that it is no more so than anywhere else (particularly Trinity).

I'm doing commerce, a degree famous for being full of such people, and I have yet to come across one who won't speak with me or treats me differantly because of where I live. Besides which, there's 23000 students, most of whom are very decent people, and many of whom are not from Dublin, or even Ireland, also we have tons of societies and clubs and such in which you can get to know loads of people, so you're not dwarfed by the scale of the campus.

Anyhoo, I just thought I'd pop this up as I know a lot of people (myself included), who either nearly didn't go, or didn't go to UCD because of such things.

    /end propaganda

See now, arabic and linguistics is okay, but try for german and spanish, nope, you're just too darn weird. sigh.

Sshhhut up, they might figure it out... don't want to go giving any clues...

    PLEASE DISREGARD ABOVE POST!

I saw you people there and learnt I'd a very average lung capacity *mumbles*
My belief that I didnt want to go there was affirmed whilst walking down from my house to the open day. Sorry, I'm that closed minded after my L&H debate experience.
