    Howya Folks,

I want to get the wife a starter set of clubs, can anyone recommend a decent but not too expensive ladies set.

also....will most golf shops take a trade in on pretty much anything (i have a full set of pro-select mens clubs.. hardly used) or would they want somthing thats a bit more passonable.

    thanks in advance.

    SW

YOu'll be better off selling the clubs on buy and sell and paying cash price for the new clubs.

    Here's a typical example

Golf shops have a marked price, say €500 for a set. If you pay with cash, they'll sell them for €400. If you trade in, They'll "give" you €120 for your clubs, but that will be against the maeked price of €500. so you'll pay €380. effectively only getting €20.

The only clubs worth trading in are recent, top of the range stuff like Callaways and Pings. They can usualyy shift these pretty quickly, so will give a better deal.
