Do any of you guys by any chance know the song before big races like the National ect on RTE? Its the piano song as they are showing the horses pre race. Its jammed in my head at the moment and wouldnt mind knowing what song it is.
    Cheers!

This could be from Mike Oldfield's tubular bells 3..think it's called Top of the morning.

Will someone download this and confirm if this is it or not. I'm a big Mike Oldfield fan and I know this music is featured on one of the race meetings...

This is a crude midi version of the song I'm referring to...can anyone confirm whether or not they've heard this on RTE..or am I going mad in my old age.

You're not going mad. That's the one.

Thanks Crumbs. That version doesn't do it justice but I can't find a link to any site that can preview the original.

It's not too bad a version. If you close your eyes you can just imagine Ted Walsh saying something like "Look at the arse on that one. I rode her mother once."

He said it again last week...it's almost expected of him these days. YOu have to listen to him doing the cheltenham preview that I linked on another thread...he refers to one horse as being a lazy bastard and his honesty and sexy language is quite refreshing and entertaining.

Back on topic I'm trying to find a full stream of "Everloving" by Moby, Channel 4s parade music.
