I'm going to be in dublin for a day or two in june and it turns out i'm staying somewhere in the vicinity of the fitz. Just a few questions. Do i require membership to play there, does it stay open late? (I'll only arrive late, Metallica concert) What are the stakes?

Just bring photo ID Tackle and they'll sign you up in 5 minutes.

I think they have a cash game to suit all budgets, only played them once so you'll get better advice on them from others.

cash games are all pot limit, they have holdem, omaha high, and a round of each, its open 24 hours.

alright for pl holdem in the fitz you need at least 150 buyin min 500 max otherwise your a victim.

For the round of each(omaha pl and holdem pl) really depends on the table,if the table is any good with lots of cash on it, i would recommend 400 to 1000 buyin.

oh yea the blinds are 1/2 and cash games stop at 7.30am normally btw .

I was hoping for a cheaper game. the venture up to dublin is costing enough as it is!

im sure there is but no thats not the max buy-in, thats just what limits i set myself, u dont want to be sitting there with 2k in front of you when everyone else has 200 euro getting no value for your money.

Lots of drunk people but also a few young/new players who do not want to risk 300-400 on a cash game
In fairness I have played that game a couple of times waiting for a seat at the bigger game or the round of each and the play is not always awful

In fact a damn sight better than the .5-1 1-2 games on Stars or Party at the weekend
