I just thought i'd bring this up seeing that there is a group of people here interested in poker.

I have been playing poker constantly for 6 years. I wouldn't say I'm addicted but I play alot. I tend to play more online then offline. Recently I had the idea of recording my play, it was nice to see that I was right in my opinion that I was actually making money out of it. But the graph I drew up was very up and down but with an overall curve of up.

Because of this I am thinking of writing a tool for recording this play. It would be a website where you would enter a session with a few details and the tool would give you your progress over time/profit etc...

Do you guys think this would be worth my while creating such tool. There is alot of other ideas for it too but I wouldn't give them away just yet.

there are a number of tools available that do this already. Google for information or try the following sites

    www.pokertracker.com
    www.pokercharts.com

They also have links to the PT Grapher tool and SNG Power tools software as well as many more

True, though the first one that you pointed out actually is an installed program. Where if you have an online diary as such you can record your own sessions. Tracking the play you want to play.

I have thrown up a quick mock up on http://www.recordmypoker.com i'll work on making it a bit better and hey if people use it i'll leave it up and improve it over time.

The second link seems to be a bit in your face with alot of pointless stats.

By the way what i have up is one days work and full of bugs and doesn't display stats yet... but you get the idea
