NTL Cable Modem Torrent Issues

    hi guys, i'm having a problem downloading torrents using my ntl cable modem modem with utorrent.

    i think the name of the modem is the NTL 250
    when i go to the routers admin section thru 192.168.100.1 i can't see any firewall or port forwarding options. i have my software firewall (mcafee) disabled at the moment.

    How can i setup the modem to get the best of my downloads, i'm getting a speed of 2kbps on a torrent which i know has a lot of seeds and stuff.

    The NTL cable modem is only a cable modem. Its not a router with firewall options. There is no need to forward ports with NTL unless you have a router aswell.

    Have you capped your uploads to about 80%. That can affect downloads.

    having the same problems .................. resets? .............. low speeds?
