Got mine just after x-mas. No problems at the moment. Amazed at how much heat is generated by the power brick. It's well ventilated though.

Mine doesnt play certain DVDs unless the console is switched to 50hz (i.e :Father Ted, Tommy Tiernan and all my Irish DVDs) it plays movies and games no problems!

I think this is an issue with all 360s though........

I just realised i should have made this a public poll so that people wont just ruin it and give a completely biased view

Not one problem with it yet!!!!!

Got mine on launch day, it does Media Center duties for all my television (as well as being used for lots of gaming :D )

Worked 100% OK so far and the brick doesn't get hot at all tho' the console gets a little warm but not worryingly so (my MCE PC gets hotter)

Got mine at launch, and from then it didnt play PDZ for longer periods of 10 minutes and it would just crash. Tried three copies of the game and they all crashed. Ignored the problem and PDZ as all other games worked perfectly. Then got ridge racer and it started behaving the exact same. Then rang MS, they picked it up fixed it and its in perfect order. Even with this promlem, im happy with my 360, its just so deadly!

Dunno if the current poll results really represent actual figures......

but if they do, the rate is too high by far.

exactly we need more users to vote and we'll get a true view of the 360s robustness

It looks bad but ye can't expect a terribly accurate poll with only 13 people polled so far (huh huh you said polled:D) lets give it a chance and see how it goes when we get that number up to 30 or 40 x-box owners

*Edit* I need to learn to type faster :(

I can't believe that so many people are voting yes?? OK, my 360 works perfectly about 98% of the time, but it keeps locking up every so often for no good reason, randomly - which means I have to get off my ass and hit the power button. Sorry, but that's not "working perfectly" in my book, that was never needed with the PS2... I know it's a Microsoft OS in the end of the day and we're all used to BSOD and Ctrl+Alt+Del but we shouldn't have to put up with that!!

The poll should be more comprehensive, like "my 360 is fine, have it since launch day"

"my 360 was dead before i even got to play it"

"my 360 was ok for a few weeks, then crapped out"

But as for me, i voted yes, as my 360 is in PWO since that cold morning outside smyths. :D

yes, but the ps2 only needed replacement drives, and lazers for a long time at its launch  Im sure ps2 crap out rate was much higher then 360, and MS may be evil in most peoples opinion, but they have excellent customer service, unlike Sony.

Its crashed like once or twice ever I think so its not perfect perfect, but I couldnt say no because of that! I got it in january and its all good!

it doesnt boot up first time - have to turn it off and then wait and then back on, takes about 30 seconds just to get it turned on which is annoying and then sometimes it doesnt boot and gives an Error 74 which disappears when I reboot. Again, quite annoying. I use it mainly for Media Center and often get 'Session Disconnected' even though I'm using a wired network. All a bit annoying but its still a great piece of kit, and I know I must send it back but I don't want to be without it for 10 days or whatever - just couldnt bare the thought of watching normal television what with all the ads to be watched n all.

have mine 6 weeks not a single crash

only problem is it doesnt play halo1 when using the vga cable on a monitor and I wish there was a lot more compatible xbox1 games.

    i should have voted " no " but for some reason i voted " yes " :o

have mine since launch and the only trouble was with lock up's in pgr3 but that has all gone since the update.
