Bass player available

I'm 27 so would rather play with people around my age, and am in South Dublin.

Some of the music I'm into:

Air, Jamiroquai, Kings of Leon, Bob Marley, African music (Habib Koite, Orchestra Baobab, Amadou & Mariam among others), Manu Chao, Ben Harper, The Police, dEUS, Beatles, Massive Attack, Cake, Faithless, Stevie Wonder (70s stuff), Crowded House, Ben Folds Five, Tenacious D

I'd prefer not to play in a rock or metal band - I'd rather something a bit different, something you can dance to - disco, dance, reggae, ska, electronic, funk - whatever. Although I could play in a good rock band if needed

I'm in the Cabinteely area, I'm only 21 so if that's a problem let me know. I'm primarily into Zeppelin folky stuff, The Who, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell etc but also blues, bluegrass and jazz. It might be interesting to give it a go cos obviously the stuff you're into is bass. Anything i write myself tends to be quite unconventional. I'm in a band on the South east of Dublin, we've just completed an album in our own studio and it sounds like we've similar goals musically. We make original music, something you can definitely dance to as we're heavily into funk (Sly Stone, Stevie Wonder, Talking Heads) and weirder stuff as well some Rock stuff like Bowie, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin. We're trying to put together the band that can play our album (check out my add here in Musicians wanted). We used session musicians making it so it will take a little while to get the whole thing up and running. Check out a couple of our songs on
