    LOL talk about a blast from the past. The blonde twins singing "Hello, Hello a phonecall from a certain Mr. Joe.........." I always watched the Satelite Jutebox. They always played that and Unchained Melody and Duran Duran's Girls on Film.

    Holy crap, I remember that! :eek: I'm sure there were probably lots of horny adolescents with raging hormones like myself back in the day who would stay up watching the Satellite Jukebox in the hope that they'd show that 'Hello' video so we could get our 3-and-a-half minute fix of some europop nudiness! Like when you'd stay up sneakily watching stuff like 'Eurotrash'. Ummm, please tell me I wasn't alone in doing this? Guys? Guys? ;):D

    Though, as I recall, they'd usually end up playing 'Hello' probably 4 or 5 times a night. Lots of guys probably coming in from the pub around that time calling in requesting it and stuff! :D But I also seem to recall there were also a few other similar kind of europop nudey videos they used to show on it as well? Can't remember any of the names but I'm fairly sure I can remember there being another couple of similar videos to that one. Ah, those crazy, liberated Europeans with their running around in the nip as if it's the most natural thing in the world! You've got to love them for that! :D

    You have to laugh at the ads in that clip there for the 'Chatback' lines. When I saw them the very first thing that popped into my head was the "Priest Chatback" ad in 'Father Ted'. And the stupid little rhyming jingle they had: "If you're sat around at home, make new friends on the telephone!" I remember we used to take the piss out of that ad by saying "If you're horny and alone, have a **** on the telephone!" :D

    Ah God, good times, good times! :D

    Eurotrash? No. I never liked it that much, what I used to do was stay up and watch the German Channels (especialy Sat.1). That or wait till midnight and switch over to Sky Sports 3 :D

    Yeah, I remember back about 1996/1997 when Chorus here in Portlaoise used to broadcast Sky Sports 3 in the clear that the Playboy Channel would come on when Sky Sports 3 shut down for the night. You'd get to see the 5 or 10 minute free preview before it would then be scrambled. Used to sometimes get to catch a glimpse of that from time to time! ;)

    Not having a Sky dish or one of the old analog dishes, I never got to see those dodgy German channels a lot of my friends would talk about but I did get a chance to see the aformentioned Sat 1 by accident one time. One week a few years ago something really weird happened with Chorus whereby Eurosport was off and on the air intermittendly and Sat 1 was cutting in over it occasionally, sometimes for several hours at a time. I seem to recall them showing a lot of German-dubbed 'Baywatch' and some German version of Jay Leno called 'The Harold Smidt Show' or something like that. But what I really remember the most was that on the Saturday night after midnight or so, it seemed to be "porno-night" or something on this Sat 1 channel because they showed a couple of semi-hardcore porn films and a lot of dodgy ads for German phone sex lines and even some sex shops! :eek: Unfortunately, a couple of days later Chorus seemed to fix the problem and Eurosport was back to normal and I never got to see Sat 1 again. :(

    Hmmm, I wonder does it still broadcast at all and if I'd be able to pick it up still on a cheap old analog or freeview dish if I bought one somewhere? ;):D
