Afternoon gents and ladies.. Long time reader, first time poster, be gentle please...

Just a quick question.. I'm living over in Ingerland and I'm looking to buy an Ireland jersey. Easily done with all the websites etc, but none of the sites I've seen can offer number printing on the back of the jersey.

Can anyone suggest a site that will print a number on a jersey?

    Cheers.. wye aye.

well, what i'd advise it to buy the jersey and then go to a loal sports shop and they'll be able to do it for you.

Oh and one other thing...seemingly the irish jersey is going to be changed after the six nations, as Irisah permanent TSB are not renewing sponsership, so there will be a new version shortly enough (not sure if it's just the advert or the whole jersey).

This means that a) you might want to hold off and b) you might be able to pick up the current version of the jersey for real cheap (half price) in a little while. I believe the Irish permanent tsb site is selling them real cheap

Yeah Ruggie, I heard they were ending their sponsorship. I also heard that o2 were taking over? althought that was water cooler talk :)

The website is selling the jerseys - http://www.permanenttsb.ie/rugby/

might get to you faster if you use a UK website. .

    www.rugbystore.co.uk

Beware though - as Ruggie mentioned Permanent tsb have ended their sponsorship deal with the IRFU . . next years jersey will have nice big 02 logo on it. . .

There's feck loads of websites etc, I was just wondering if you knew of any who do the number printing on the back.

Unfortunately, if you ask in a sports shop here to do number printing, they do that ridiculous FA Premier League lion on the bottom of the numbers...

Will O2 being the new sponsors not just make the Irish jerseys look like english ones except with different colours?

Depends on your point of view I suppose..

I'll be looking England jerseys thinking they're Ireland jerseys without the green dye put in :)
