I know pots odds i have read a few books and i now how to play but i can't read people to save my life. I know if i could have a bit better reading skills i would win more. Is there anybook that would help me with tells and not math or playing hands or the stlye of play if you can think of anything that may help me?

Any books, tips, websites would be a great help!!

The only one I've read is Caros book of tells and its not great to be honest. Its very outdated and the pictures are crap.

The only concrete advise to come out of it, and everyone here knows it, is if a player "is looking down and to the left" hes bluffing :)

The "looking to the left" part, does this also apply to ciotach? :)

Don't rely on books. Go to the airport or mall and sit and watch people. Watch how they talk, act respond. Then watch old video of poker. Write down if you see things and what you think the tell is/was. Then correlate the actual v. what you thought and see how you do. I think this is the best method and it has helped me immensely.

tells i don’t know about as i haven’t played that much live to be able to spot tells such as people scratching their ass so they must have AA.
however as for being able to tell whether they are strong or weak that can be done and infact you must be able to do it in order to be come a good player.
as to how spot it ,it comes with experience.
the most common and for me the most reliable tell is betting patterns.
this is different for each and every player but one thing that is the same is that most players have a consistent betting pattern.
for example some people make a weak probing bet when they have missed their hand and its their way of saying "im done with the hand but before i fold im gonna make one last stab at the pot to see if i can take the pot”. against this all you have to do is raise their bet and they will give you the pot .it doesn’t matter what your two cards are.some people who are a bit better and know this will intentionally make a weak bet when they are strong so that you will raise and then they come over the top.
profile your players ,keep watching the way they play.i know thats what books say as well but trust me they say it for a reason. its very hard not have a betting pattern that people can pick up on and to be honest at the levels that we play i dont think its even worth it as long as your not readable like a book.
im speaking strictly from a tourney point of view but i suppose most of this can be applied to any form of poker.
aother thing to watch out for is peoples open riases.what hands they raise with from what positions?
    do they call reraises?
do they understand the value of position or just play the cards?
to they fold to reraise?this particular concept is vital on a mid and late stages of a tourney as you need to keep your self ahead of the blinds and unless the deck is hitting you in the face its very hard to do.
one of the most effective way of doing it is to resteal.by this i mean reraise a raiser.make use of the GAP concept. you can reraise the right player with anything at all and can be sure that his gonna fold unless he has a very good hand.
most people are willing to open raise with a laot of hands hoping to take down the blinds but will not call a reraise .i have folded hands as good as AKs in a face of reraise and it just goes to show you how powerful it can be.
Obviously the situation had to be right and you have to do this against the right player.but thats why you need to watch the table to see what players are likely to release their hand in the face of a reraise.
last night i was playing the 50K on PPP and i was down to 7K with blinds 300/600 .i was card dead but after a few steals i got up to 12K.after that i just reraised mid stack people (people who had 20-30K) and got my self up to 30K eventually with out having a hand.i reraised them all in with 78s,J8s ,44 .anything that has potential if get called.you need to know that this is risky move but if you pick your spots well it will work out more often than not.
i hope this helps you but the main thing to consider is to keep watching how poeple play. eventually it will click and you will be able to tell when people are strong and when they are not .once you get to this stage then you can adjust your play based on your opponents hand rather your own hand and this is how you get paid.

I've heard of worse reasons for failing people tbh. I hope your thesis wasn't on playing big PP's near to the bubble ;)

    joking....

Edit: For someone who has only been writing in English for five years, you put a lot of boards inhabitants to shame with your grammar and spelling, if not punctuation and capitalisation.
