Which bike????

Right, I'm currently living in Dublin and have just changed job. My old work place was within cycling distance but were I'm going to now is 15miles anyway (and I'm not going to cycle 30miles a day). I'm dreading the thought of sitting in the car in traffic so I though I might opt for a bike. I had a scooter years ago.

Any suggestions on a bike type? I'd like to be able to drive it down to Ennis also (where the girlfriend lives). What type of insurance would I pay (I have 5yrs no claim bonus, full license and am 28yrs old)?

No clames on a car does not count on a bike. You are also only full licence on the car I take it? B/M licence? Well if you want a bike you will need a A1/A Licence. Which means you will need to sit the prov test for it.

As for what bike. Seeing as you are over 28. Your insurance should be pretty low. I would go for 125 sports type or maybe a 250 cruser.
