Is there any way to do it and make money, I see the ads in the paper every night but I couldn't be sure that they aren't a scam. Does anyone have any experience with this?

The ads in the paper aren't a scam, but they're no where near "easy money" like they say they are. Also, you normally have to pay them upfront fees to join. I'd avoid them.

Could you make some kind of Internet business? I know every man and his dog is trying to do this, but some people do make a living from the internet.

Friend of mine buys cheap,(but good quality) Tents and camping stuff from china and lashes it out on ebay, His wife is the store, despatch, purchasing etc manager and works in the garage. On a good week he would make 4/500 profit.Mind you he needed about 2/3k upfront at the start to get the ball rolling as he has to pay for all his stock up front. That was 2 yrs ago and its still an earner. You must put in the work and not drink tea and watch the telly !! :D

    Don't trust those
"you could earn up to 500euro a week" adverts, they're pyramid-type scams.
The others are usually Avon or Betterware shíte.
eBay is a great source of income if you find the right supply and the right product, but as said above, you have to put the work in...
I'm in the UK at the moment and have spotted great potential in vinyl sales; charity shops here sell records at 50p a go, and in visiting a few I saw some real bargains (Bad by Jackson in perfect condition for 50p, for example).
If I was committed enough (and cheap enough to profit from charity) I'd start buying up records and selling them; I mean £1 for bad on vinyl is a good price, and it's a 100% profit for you!!!
Ireland doesn't have the same vinyl sellers as the UK, but I'm sure something as obvious is out there somewhere...
