I work for texas nights.ie and i was Avon before i got barred, i really did not mean to be sly, i love this site but i have to clear this up, i pretended to be a player to get feed back from people without being slated for working for them i thought you were not allowed advertise as a company on this website so i didnt i think people are being very un fair, yes we had a few teething problems at the start like i am sure others do but we are not "cowboys". I would like to hear from people what they think is wrong so we can do everything possible to please our customers like every company does and obviously if we dont know what is wrong we cant make it better, All our games are now 40 Reg, no re-buys and a top up for 20 at the break.
Again i am sorry for the way i handles it before, please dont ban me, any of our players out there who play and enjoy themselves hi!!

You're not very clear -- try using paragraphs and more punctuation.

If you were masquerading as a player in order to promote your company, you should apologise for that, and probably you won't get banned. I don't play these tournaments, but for those who do I'm sure it would be useful to have you here to discuss your events. Many other poker organisers post here as well.

I do Apologise for that and i do see everyone posting stuff about there events and would love to do the same, but i thought you were not allowed advertise as a company thats why i did it that way, but i see how bad it looked and felt pretty stupid after!!

I played in one of your tournaments. The first and last time, about 4-5 months ago. A Rebuy, it was a crapshoot from the off. At least 400 was spent at my table alone in rebuys. I retired to the bar after. 6/7 tables. The final table arrived at about 12.30. I stuck around to watch it.

Guess what first place got?

I should probably announce that I am now working in conjunction with Texas nights, I will have little to do with the live tourney side of things, I will be working in the area of web development.

As I am working closely with the owner, if you guys actually do have any feedback I am in a position to pass it on and it will be acknowledged.

HJ, Marq and others, I genuinely laughed out loud....

Wooddale. You are allowed to be honest and communicate with players. This is a good start. I accept your apology and I'm glad to see you engage with the community. You may have a lot of defending to do though as I think your tournie still have major problems but I'd like to open a dialog all the same (here, with everyone, not in private).

Everyone should remember that a reformed tournie operator is better then a cowboy out in the cold. We've had this before and by sheer player power reformed others into terrific tournie event organisers.

I have two very serious questions though and I'd like an honest answer to both.

1. Are you empowered to speak authoratively on behalf of the TN (ie: what is your role there)?

2. Are you the (ex?) girlfriend of S. O'N.

On this forum I've no problem with full disclosure and operators communicating with the players because the players want that information. My problems arise when the operators are "economical with the truth". I'm also going to enforce the IPPTC charter soon too, to ensure the players have the information they require to make an informed decision.

Thank you Dev, I run the touneys pubs, thats what i do and i am s o'n girlfriend, he has nothing to do poker at all i used his name when i did not have my own account and he killed me for gettin him barred, could he get that penOs back because he had a star or something i dont really know what he means but something to do with buying and selling!!I started this ages ago i did not mean for it to get so messy!
