Yes your friendly neighbourhood nice guy is back (did you miss me? Didn't think so) and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the upcoming rag week which is set for next week. I went to the UCDSU website and all they said was:
UCD Rag Week 2006 is set for the week of the 6th to the 10th of March.
It is the first time in five years UCD has had a proper rag week so lets all make sure were out of lectures and make the week a great success.
Stay tuned to UCDents.com for more info as we get it.

How does one go about getting involved in Rag week? Anyone have any more info on it?

    Thanks.

I noticed your philospohical presence hadn't been around here for a while! :)

Rag-week? Don't have a clue about it. I hear it's great in pretty much all of the bogger colleges and it's probably the biggest week of the year with a load of cheap drink and general student antics. It's the 1st year for ages there's been a rag week in UCD so it has to be a success really. With the lack of familiar territory with a rag week out here and the general massive size of our college and I can't seeing been huge in it's 1st year but hopefully it will be good and will grow (even though I can't personally be bothered doing anything next week) As Scraggs said it's a very bad week to have it with loads of people having a bunch of coursework during the final week so that may be bad.

I think it looks pretty good. Its the first time since I've been in college that there's been posters and flyers abpout rag week so fair play to Anto Kelly.

What the hell is this hypno dog?A dog that hypnotises people-sounds like a great laugh

Personally I like the idea of a completely misspelt Hawaiin Ball...

I'm totally anal about spelling on posters and things and that wrecked my head! Hawaiin ball... ugh!

To me it just seems like the same things Anto Kelly has done all year, just in a closer time frame. Nothing special really!

And to top it all off, QSoc are having an event in Tramco. Tramco is my non UCD safe haven, and its being infected by Qsoc, i'm disgusted!!

A friend of mine used to vote in the sabbat elections by which candidate had the best spelling and grammar in their manifestos.

Best way of deciding I've heard of yet.

I've two exams at least next week, so I won't be partying down much.

I spent a fair portion of a lecture discussing that with someone. Darn boring lectures in 3rd year. You'd think they'd know how to make them interesting by now, but no!

is it me or is rag week meant to be a mad week in which we all go crazy and get hammered at noon every day?

there is no fun in college any more.

That is exactly what RAG week should be and its so sh!te that all the faculties and such dont get involved and ease up the workload for this week so we can go get bladdered...
Startin to think i shoulda gone to CW.IT:D ...

Way to ruin a good run in office, Anto. Well not his fault really... I think the faculties, sorry ~schools~ are better off running their own rag weeks instead of a shuffling fragmented rag week like this one was. fair play for the effort though. ok eyes are sore im off to get hammered bye bye i love you!
